SOCAD and Transcript Evaluations

SOCAD
Upon enrollment at Coastline and receipt of your military transcript, a SOC Agreement shall be automatically prepared on your behalf, and completed no later that completion of 6.0 semester hours at Coastline College. Therefore, it is vital for you to have all official transcripts, both military and college, on file at Coastline when you enroll. In order to best assure that this occurs, it is strongly recommended that you request all transcripts be sent to Coastline at the time you enroll in your first course at Coastline.

Army Services - Posting of Military Credits
College policy requires that a student establish residency with Coastline by completing 12 semester hours of course work before any experiential or prior learning credit is posted to a student’s official college transcript. Further, standard procedures is to wait until a student has petitioned for graduation before posting credit in order to assure that all transcripts have been received and accounted for in order to eliminate duplication of effort and better assure that all official documentation has been received.
